Stopped by the Ford dealer on San Antonio to check out the new 5.0's. They had a 2011 California Series GT with 3.15 gears!!?? Nice car, but no thank you on the 3.15's

its called california series now? what happened to california special? who knows 3:15's may be ok since the motor and getrag tranny are brand new

3.15s and 6 spd trans...no wonder they advertise such good highway MPG! I'd say throw in some 4.56s and don't look back! Heck, if you want a highway slayer, drop in some 2.73s and add some bolt ons! A car of maybe 425-450 RWHP and killer top speed! That would be one "special" Stang 2011 CS GT 10498

Wow, the 3.15's aren't the best feature, but other than that...it's cool that they came back out with the CS!

I can attest to what a lighweight car, tall gears and HP can do for top end....and don't ask me how I know this! Suffice it to say, when the wife saw how fast we actually were going she started to come unglued...LOL!
