Body Shop
Well I have been MIA for the last couple months. Just moved into a new apartment and everyone and their mother has also decided to move. So it has been nuts.
I am still having issues with my rear bumper cover not lining up on the drivers side. I have taken it back to the original body shop 3 additional times and they have not been able to fix it. I talked to my insurance yesterday and today gave me the green light to bring it to a new body shop. Anyone have suggestions of good body shops in MD?
Wish I could of made the eastern shore cruise, it was the girlfriends b-day. I asked if she would do it and that was a big fat no.

Re: Body Shop
I have some body shops that do a lot of work custom or repair there in waldorf, MD. Heflins Automotive #301 632 6111 i was told to check them out and was a good group of people. Gary Best Customs 301 645 8628 they have done some work on my truck. Both are good IMO, just find out a price and see what they can do for u.

Re: Body Shop
Since this was an insurance claim I am having insurance deal with most of it except picking the shop. The old body shop called and asked me to bring it back to them so they can right the situation. I would love to do that, but some of the stuff the adjuster found yesterday just proves sloppy work and no attention to detail

Re: Body Shop
Sorry about your ongoing issues, BUT look at almost any '05-'09 S197 on the road and most of them you'll find the driver side bumper/quarter panel not lined up Mine isn't even lined up. I believe it is the quarter panel that isn't contoured right from the factory. I've even seen GT500s with this issue!

Re: Body Shop
Well... I know it will never be perfect because of it coming from the factory like that... However this was REALLY off. the bumper wouldn't even clip in on the side... However, GOOD NEWS. Insurance made me bring it back to the original body shop and if they didn't fix it this time around they would allow me to bring it anywhere. Well it lines up perfect. Looks like it did the day I bought it off the show room floor (sadley only 11 months ago ). But its fixed and now we need a new cruise!
