New Truck Suggestions

They are having it repaired because it is still their truck; however, they are paying out-of-pocket so there is no insurance claim and subsequent CarFax report on the truck.
The Louisiana Consumer Protection Division will hear about this if they don't give me a fair deal on it because they sure as hell won't be fair with the next guy and I can't let someone else walk into such a situation.

Hope it works out for you. So is this a F150 XLT or a base F250?

Hope all goes well for ya. I hope they're good people unlike every dealer I've dealt with getting repairs done on their dime. I have a few dealer accounts and they never want a quality job, just fast and easy. Hopefully it'll be different for you

Neither. The truck I was about to buy was a FULLY LOADED 2012 F150 FX4 with every option. Moonroof, remote start, power sliding rear window, power folding sideview mirrors, heated/ cooled two-tone leather seats, SYNC, 6" Nav with Sony 700W sound system, FX appearance package, etc
It wasn't going to be missing a thing

Good for you and you wanted that sun roof. And the sync rocks the house and it might be something I'd consider, but I am not a tech type but I like the sony sound system.
