It's Back! - Eastern Shore Cruise 2015 (June 20)

EDIT: Added Car Show details - First Annual Tilghman Island Cruise-In once we get down there!



Hey Guys!

It's been a while since I've hopped on here, so I hope all is well with everyone! I know we definitely don't have as many active users as we used to - but with this cruise, I hope to rekindle some of the flame! We've done variations of this cruise a few times in the past and everyone has loved it. This time around, my uncle & I have worked with Harrison's to host a car show once we get down there. With the proper publicity, it should be a good showing in addition to our cars! If you guys have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know! -Chris

A couple of quick notes before I get into the details:
- This is a shortened route from past years for various reasons.
- Burger King is on the RIGHT going east bound on Rt. 50 after the Bay Bridge, not McDonald's.  
- We will be eating dinner at Harrison's again. However, this time we will have the option between the outdoor bar and a indoor seafood dinner buffet. I voiced our concerns from last time, and we will definitely be taken care of thanks to new management and completely renovated restaurant.
- Discounted lodging is available for anyone who wishes to stay the night at the attached Inn to Harrison's.
- We're extending this to other local clubs as well - NVMC, MCOM, etc.
- I want to clarify that the Eastern Shore Cruise itself will be Mustang only. However, per the restaurant owner's request, the Car Show will be open to all makes/models.

08:30 AM - 09:00 AM - Meet at Lowe’s Parking Lot in Bowie, MD (Travel Time/Distance to next destination)
09:00 AM - 09:40 AM - Cruise to Burger King on the Right off Rt. 50 on Kent Island. (29 min, 27.1 miles)
09:50 AM – 10:20 AM - Cruise to Lowe’s Parking Lot in Easton, MD (26 minutes, 24.6 miles)
10:30 AM - 10:50 AM - Cruise to Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michael’s (15 min, 10.5 mi)
10:50 AM – 11:45 AM - Hang out in St. Michael’s and take some pictures, grab lunch.
11:45 AM – 12:05 PM - Cruise to Harrison’s and park in front lawn for Car Show (17 minutes, 13 mi)
12:05 PM – 01:00 PM - Get organized for Car Show/Clean Cars, etc.

I'm sure they will be accommodating. I'd call for you, but as someone with a severe peanut allergy, I'm sure you'd like to call and make sure for yourself.

Yep, I will.  Was writing fast and neglected the "I" in my previous post... We do this before going anyplace new for Linda...

If this is replacing the Solomen's Island CrabCake Cruise this year, then put me down as 1. We will not know Honey Bunny's schedule till the Thursday before.

I'm not sure about that, however I haven't heard much about that cruise. This one should be a blast though. We haven't done it since 2011 and it's always been a favorite.

Henny, no this is a different cruise altogether, we did this a couple of times thanks to Chris and it's always a good time, even when SOMEONE puts their car in a ditch.

Oh and Chris I'm a strong maybe, more like a most likely, a lot depends on being able to get that damn differential fixed in Blue, or possibly I may be able to bring Little One.

Sounds like a plan! Should definitely be a good time. Since there aren't that many people on the forum - try to get the word out to your Mustang friends. I posted up on the Facebook group and plenty liked it, but not seeing many names on here. Let me know if you guys have any questions!

He ran into some roadblocks at the drag day this past weekend, unfortunately. Ryan, I'm sure there's definitely someone you'll be able to ride with!

Sorry to hear this. I have to ask what happened. I wanted to come but I couldn't get the miles on the clutch yet.

He blew both head gaskets but as of a couple hours ago he's back on the road! Quick recovery! Now he's gotta bring the car out 😄

FYI: Original post has been updated! I added in the Car Show details - will be open to all makes/models once we get down there and goes from 1-4 PM, dinner afterwards! Looking forward to this cruise/car show! It's going to be a blast!
