Maxima Rim or Tire

My gf ran over something going down 270 today and blew her tire and bent the rim. The rim won't allow the tire to hold pressure. I have a couple questions for yall:

1 - I have a set of 4 stock GT rims that are 17" and has 245x45x17 snow tires on them. Will these fit a 2000 Nissan Maxima? Her stock rim is 16" and her tires are 215x55x16. Here is a pic of the my rims and a pic of her rim.



2 - Anyone know where we might be able to find a spare rim that matches her stockers? A junkyard or something?

eBay's your best bet for a replacement rim.

and the bolt pattern's the same on 5lug maximas as 5lug mustangs...5/4.5(114.3)...I used to see several mid 90 maximas with cobra rims on them years ago. You'll still need to check for any clearances issues due to wheel offset/inset but you're gonna have to throw them on for that. She may have turn scrubbing in the front with those 245s...

Thanks. I did some searching through the Maxima forums and found that they have the same pattern and the offset was just right. We went for a drive and had no rubbing at full turn so it looks like we are good. Just need to find a spare rim now. Thanks for the info!!!

Thanks! But she ain't keeping them. Those are going on my car soon so I can clean up my rims and put them away for the winter.

Funny story (atleast to me): when we were test driving it to make sure there was no rubbing or weird vibrations or anything, I kept peeling out. She was getting mad but then I was like, "they're my damn tires!" Then I peeled out some more. HA!!!

Look good and a quick fix, if you need an additional rim you may have some luck at Hubcap City, I beleive they have local stores in DC and Laurel...

Ha...I think so. She found a rim at a salvage yard up in Frederick so I can take them back off her car as soon as she gets a tire mounted on it.
