PICTURES!!!!

Well, i finally got the pictures loaded, for all you whining asses!! i was pretty busy this weekend with work, tattoos, and all.....

i went up on friday evening and went out with my brother and his girlfriend......ended up getting pretty drunk, which was not what i wanted to do since i wanted to get up early and work on the car. but i fell into the peer pressure.......plus seeing a bunch of old friends from high school made it even more of an interesting time lol. anywho, got up late saturday and made my way to my folk's place. first thing on the priority was food, so my wonderful mother made us breakfast, just like the good ole days. then it was time to change into some crappy clothes and head out to the garage. first thing we had to do was move all of my parent's toys out of the way so we could get my car out.........

after we moved those and a few other things we roled my car on the lift....


alright, so now all the stockers are off.......might as well load them up since i gotta take them down to MD to give to Alex. at this point i wish i had a truck.......my dad and i scratched our heads for a bit trying to figure out how we were going to get all 4 wheels and tires in my toyota. we managed though.....which was funny as hell once was all said and done.......

ok now time for the new shoes to go on....


alright all 4 on, now it's time to bring her down and do the final tightening and adjustments.

of course, something Always has to go wrong.......on the final tightening one of the locking lug nuts busted....DOH!! i wasn't very fond of these lugs anyway, they were way to small for the depth of the lug hole....it was very difficult to get to...

see how deep they are.....and of course you can see where the top of the lug snapped off!!


and go figure...made in China bullshit......so we ended up putting her back up on the lift and replacing the locking lugs with the regular lugs.

after all was said and done, and still pissed about the non-American product, i back her out of the garage and took some pictures.....















i am COMPLETELY satisfied with the final product!!! besides the sh!tty ass lugs, but i will be calling them on Monday and bitching. can't wait to get her out and do a complete detail on here and take her for a cruise!!!!!!

Looks good, at least you were able to remove the nuts after they broke like that.

It needs some springs now...

Nice wheels, like the gunmetal color too. I like your pop's garage though, makes a man envious. Been trying to build one like it for 7 years now, always something comes up

thanks!!! it took my dad several yrs as well to finally get the garage. he needed it to store all his damn toys, and yet he still doesn't have enough room.

Thanks for posting up! It looks awesome, Laura!!!!! Sorry about the locking lugs though! They aren't to be torqued to full spec anyways (tip from my bro-in-law that works at a tire shop). They break easily if tightened too much. You do need to drop her now indeed with the lower tire on he back. That plus the suspension needs to be cycled so it can settle a bit (pushing down on the fenders works). Judging by the way it looks, you got the 285/35 rear tire?

Thanks, John! and, yes, i did go with the 285/35.

The steeda sport springs are a great choice for these cars, as they only drop an inch in front and 1.25 out back. Gives it a nice stance.

Nice looking wheels and a perfect look for a white car.

Looks good and def agree, it needs to be lowered. I'm not keen on the tires sticking out of the wheel well in the rear. Did you get the wrong backspacing or is supposed to look like that. .

Hey Laura thanks for bringing the rims to me. We put them on today and the front ones were rubbing the brake calipers. So the back ones seem fine so im gonna buy a set of wheel spacers for them and it should all be good.

Ford Racing does make a brake kit for the V6 to put on different rotors and brackets......you use your same calipers and pads.....let me know and I can check it out for you....I do have them on my V6

As far as i know i will be home New Years Day AND i got an air compressor and impact gun for Christmas so it should be an easy task. I work Today thru Wed so unless i go somewhere for a New Years Party Thur should work. What wheels are they?
