I was watching some show on Extreme Roller Coasters and they mentioned the Kingda Ka in New Jersey at Six Flags. Over 120mph and with 400 foot climbs and drops.

Sounds like a cruise idea to me. The six flags website says the ride is temporarily shut down, but I can call and get an idea when it will be ready again. Some nice youtube videos out there.

I've been on Kingda Ka, and it's definitely the most intense coaster I've ridden. I'm in, schedule permitting.
