I've always liked the sound of Magnaflows on the S197s. In fact, I want to try one with my JBA longtube setup. Personally, I hate the sound of my Macs, although everyone else seems to think otherwise...

I have a similar setup as you do. Macs are loud as hell with longtubes. everyone tells me it sounds good from the outside i guess. They're old and losing their tone though. Now theyre just plain loud

Im just gonna go back to flowmasters. I never had any issue with sound or fitment. Drone never bothered me and it didnt drone much with my x pipe.i just wanted to try something different with the macs. bassanis sound pretty good too. ive heard my car outside before and it sounds great!! lol but inside im like ahhhh want my flows back

Sounds pretty good, but it is hard to tell with the camera sitting right behind it "Traditional YouTube style" It's better off to the side at least a little bit out of the direct path...

The time you and I lined up at the track, your car completely drowned mine out (spectator vids)!
Try an O/R X! My LTs, O/R X and MACS are a lot quieter inside than the factory manifolds, O/R H and MACs ever dreamed of being along with just as loud outside with a ton less raspiness
