yeah you can take it to any local tire shop and they should have the tool to remove it or if you wanna do it your self get a socket that fits over the lock tight and bang it on with a hammer then shoot it off with an air gun that should solve your problem

I just picked it up from Sheehy Ford for an alignment and 4 new tires. They said they wasn't going to try it because they didn't want to destroy my rim.

This is what it is supposed to look like.

But this is what is wrong with it. They are not very good pictures though.

you can do it yourself with the socket method u might damage the inside wall of the rim or you can still take it to a tire shop they will do it but again there will be damage inside but it should not be severe I need help or advice. 59253

Thanks guys I got it. The center was was barely attached so I was able to break it and use the key to get it off with no damage to the wheel.

Congrats! I also had that problem and used the socket method...if it weren't for Laura finding my wheel lock at Drag Day, I might have been doing it again I need help or advice. 40218

+1 to the locking nuts not being as tight. They aren't as strong as the regular lug nuts and therefore don't require the same torque...they can break...
