Anyone do any porting?

I need to get this Gt40 upper and lower intake ported before I put it on. Does anyone do this or know someone who does?

That's an explorer upper and lower. You could hit up TMoss over on Corral, he has lots of experience porting those.

Yeah I know its an explorer, I just call it a GT40 because its basically the same....Hoping for someone local if possible

Basically they are same, but not the same. The GT40 has a tubular upper, which really cannot be ported. So if you tell a person you want your GT 40 intake ported, you will not get an accurate answer. It's closer to a Cobra intake than a GT40, but it's still an Explorer...so just call it what it is!

Try a local machine shop, most can handle porting. Whether they have experience and know what works best on that particular intake is another story, hence my TMoss suggestion.
