I'm going on a little road trip...

I'll be leaving in a couple hours to start my 16 hour drive to Mississippi to be with the family for Thanksgiving. I will then being driving up to Oklahoma to visit the in-laws..... ....and I'll be back around the end of next week.

^ I will be driving each of these straight through. I'm stocked up on 5 hour energy and lots of music! It's a good thing the Focus still gets 34-35mpg highway. lol See you all in a couple weeks.

I typically do 10-15 over the speed limit, especially on long distance drives like this. It does end up being about 16 hours still though once you include time down to get gas, use the bathroom, get food, etc... I'm always safe on these drives.

We made it to Mississippi at around 9am this morning. I've stuffed myself with more turkey, ham, dressing, and dumplings than I ever though I could. I'm very tired and going to sleep now.

Just got back from my 7 hour drive and thought that was long, hope u enjoyed your visits : )

We're in Oklahoma now. Made it up here in 10 hours and 35 min! my paw-in-law is huffing about his I-ROC running 13s on completely stock motor. He has no idea I've put the Focus in the 12s! ;)

Well... starting the dreaded drive back to Maryland tomorrow. Looks like I'll be running into some snow across Kentucky and West Virginia. Wish me luck!

Be careful, and you did tell your Pa-in-Law about you slow ass 4 cylinder, and how much you wish you had a fast car like his didn't you
