OK I put in the HID's they look great but I still cant adjust the damn headlights high enough, and it looks like when you put the high beams on the lights go down, is it possible that the after-market headlight bucket I got could have been put together backwards at the factory, causing the bulbs to be upside down?
I haven't been able to adjust these damn things since I got the new buckets, I called American Muscle and they told me it was because the buckets where designed for HID's and not regular bulbs, but now that the HID's are in the problem is more pronounced.

You put the bulbs in uPside down or you wired it backwards. I had the same issue with my install and I think I put the bulbs in upside down. That's why they got down when you high beam instead of up... Let me know if this remedies your issue.

the only problem with that scenario is that the regular headlight bulbs did the same thing, and you cant put them in but one way, and they where plugged into the stock wiring.

Ed, thats the same problem with mine. Low beams are brighter than the high beams significantly. I checked over my wiring and did not see anything unusual. So, I just left it alone. I guess when i get home ill take another look. If we dont get it fixed by OC we can check out the issue then.

OK as far as the bulbs, I'll say this again, I have had this problem since I put the buckets in, I have had 4 different sets of incandescent bulbs in them and now the brand new HID's, and to change from low to high beams with the HID's the bulb dose not move up and down, it moves Out for high and In for low, and they are doing just that, like I said, its in the buckets them selves.

I have three sets of the HIDS in multiple make vehicles and all have a lower high beam than the low bulb. I think this is by design as they are bright enough without a high beam. I am running xennon and had them installed at a shop in the mustang.

NO NO NO. You all have it wrong...Lol. Alright on the S197 there is a adapter ring that fits the H13 housings and the bulb locks into that. Take out the bulb from this housing and flip it 180. Thats it. I had to do it on my mustang and on bobs when i sold him the kit
