Honestly, you don't need to run RP or stuff like that. something bought from a local auto parts store is fine. Then you just need to decide on reg oil, a syn blend or full synthetic.

I agree with Bernie. If your car isn't high in mileage, Synthetic would be a good choice. Mobil 1 is cheaper at Walmart than anywhere else I have looked.

I have a hard time finding the FL300 for the SVO. Walmart used to carry them. I think i have 1 left from when I lived in WV and bought a handful of them. Can't fit the FL1A on it due to the coolant cooler. I need to put the 90 degree adapter on it from a Merkur to use the FL1A, I have a cooler, but not the damn bolt. And my dumb ass forgot to look on a Merkur when I was at Crazy Rays last time...

I usually go with Catrol Synth blend, always Motorcraft filter, they are the best in my op, and blue has 125,000, but most times was changed every 3000, since I got her at 16'000, if you change it on a regular basis the brand int that important, and also you shouldn't need high mileage stuff unless the car wasn't taken care of properly, but make sure you do it regularly.
I know I'm going to here crap on this, but I also use Slick 50, always worked for me, but I know some of you dont like it.
