Post by FASFOX89 Tue Oct 16, 2012 9:22 pm

well...since buying my old foxbody back fell through I upped the ante just a tad and came home with this 03 this morning. 127k miles 5spd and has the mach1000 stereo. new headlights are on order . I've always talked of owning a sonic blue stang albeit it was usually the cobra I dreamt of but for the super low price i talked him down to I should be pretty happy with this one with the low miles i plan on putting on it.

Thanx guys..haha henny...If my girl has her choice it's the vert. Right now I'm just trying to decide what oil I'm going to use for the 1st oil change. It looks like at least someone was changing the oil as theres an oil change sticker in the window and it looks like pennzoil synthetic was used. I'm thinking of going with the Motorcraft syn. blend. Any thoughts .....

Agreed solid choice on either. One thing you may consider is some seafoam in the crank case and what I've done on several occassions I pour it in and just idle for about 5 minutes and then drop the oil. You'll find that the oil may be quite dirty, but it'll clean the motor and not strip it like say kerosene would. That is something you may consider? again I just idle on a up to temp motor before I drop the oil.

If it's had full synthetic before, then stick with it. I wouldn't downgrade to synthetic blend, especially due to the large gap in quality between full syn and blend. Full synthetic is the way to go.
