Re: Springs?!
Well got the car jacked up last night. I got the rear wheels off and the pan hard bar out of the way. I did buy the BMR with the one side adjustable sorry. I was going to try and do the back last night by myself. However my wife was dead against me trying something that I have never done before. Hence foot in the back and had to stop. But have everything laid out and should have all the tools ready as well. See you in the afternoon. Pics to follow the install guys and gals.

Re: Springs?!
OK, John just left and we had a smooth transition. I personally was taught alot. Everything went together like it was from the dealer. For those who have not had the pleasure of working with John he is great. Had a great time and the car looks awesome. Just need to find a way to get under it with a jack now to change the oil. Thanks again John, me and the wife appreciate it. I will post pics sometime tomorrow. Need to set up the new camera that I had to buy today for the pics. John also has some pics.

I have had the "pleasure" of working with John on many occasions. When i called him this afternoon it sounded like everything was going great. I'm sure you probably took like a dozen pics or so and John probably took somewhere between 100 to 1000 pics. I gaurantee he has atleast one picture of your car in the reflection of something. Johns great, he's helped me numerous times with springs and other things. Next on our list is camber plates and he doesnt know it yet but also an IRS brace i just picked up

Re: Springs?!
Thanks for the kind words, B! It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife. I always love modding Stangs! It's kind of like therapy for me, which was a great day for it! Everything went very well during the install...not even one slight setback That was my kind of garage...plenty of space...heated...and even carpeted so you're not laying directly on concrete! B's car looks even better now after lowering it! It sure is low as the side skirts are only a few inches off the ground!
Sorry Nate...I only took 24 total pics
Here are 3. One of them is a little blurry, but...

Thanks, Nate! Yeah, when you called, I was removing the strut bolts with one hand and holding the phone in the other
Just let me know when you're ready and we'll coordinate schedules and I'll be up. ...I now know where there is a spacious heated garage for installs

If they know what they're doing, they'll have no problems installing the camber bolt and adjusting it

Re: Springs?!
OK the car is done. They said they did not want to use the camber bolts. But they put it very close to factory specs. They were afraid of putting it all the way due to rubbing issues. But felt a big difference driving it home. I also had them grease the rear panhard bar fittings. Not bad for 80 bucks.

Re: Springs?!
Afraid due to rubbing issues??? What the hell is that?!?!?!?! If close to factory specs, it can't be more than a few 16ths of an inch out or so and they're worried the additional adjustments could make the tires rub??? I wonder how close, because that's not bad if you didn't need the camber bolts So other than riding better than unaligned, how was the overall ride after lowering?
