Since it has been changed to the 3rd, I might be able to do this (just don't know if I'll have my son and if so, how he would get back home before the concert), however Laura and I have a concert that starts at 7:30 at Merriweather Post Pavillion.

I wont be there, I'll be attending the Offshore Grand Prix boat race in Solomons. Good luck if you guys still cruise down there, its going to be PACKED!

FAWK! I forgot about this. I still plan on cruising, but Brian does bring up a good point. Solomons is going to be nutts-to-butts packed.

Hey Laura how bout you mention this to them, it might be a good Idea if they pick a different place to eat down that way that will keep us out of Solomons, there wont be any parking.

Ed, I posted the info on the NVMC thread as well as a link to the Grand Prix event page. Id venture to say that most restaurants in the area will be busy with the additional people in a relatively small area.

Ya I was thinking maybe just the general area, there's a nice place on the water over in the area where MIR is on the Potomac that we used to go to dinner on Friday night for the Get Out of the Cold event, and they have a big parking lot, and that would keep us out of the area of Solonons all together, and we will go rite past it any way, but its not our cruise, so lets see what they do.

Depends on what everyone wants, but on St. Mary's side: Outback Steakhouse, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Olive Garden, Red Robin, Ruby Tuesdays, Applebees, Panera, Five Guys Burger, Montereys Mexican, Asahi Japanese grill.

Calvert side: Mexico Restaurant, Montereys, Jake'N'Als Chophouse...a little further in Prince Frederick: The Green Turtle, Outback, Applebees.....

Why cruise all the way over here, to eat somewhere they could have in their own area? If you're going on a cruise, at least east somewhere that you cant on a regular basis.

I know, just my suggestions. The main point of this is the cruise, after cruising for a few hours working up an appetite, I don't think anyone is going to be really picky with where we eat. I'm with you, its a crabcake run, I can get great crabcakes here in Balto, if I'm going on a crabcake run, I kind of want a crabcake, and not from some chain.

Ok folks, this is a GO for Sunday. They are re-routing the route to avoid traffic and such. I will update this thread when I get hone with all the details.

As of right now, I have 3 confirmed....correct?

I spoke with Pony Runner (Marc on NVMC) today and he said it is a go and Plan A is Stoney's at Broome's Island and Plan B is The Narrows near Kent Island.
Karen and I will be going! I will be in MD Saturday night at her dad's house after a concert in Waldorf. That means it is quite possible that we could hook up and ride with those of you meeting up at the Expo Center (NVMC meet spot). As far as I know now, they plan on leaving the Expo meet spot around 8:30am.

I still plan on being there John. Again, might or might not have my little ones, but I should be able to make it to the starting point on time. Worst case, when I get a copy of the route, I can meet up with you guys somewhere along the way.

I'm definitely joining you guys though!

Laura and/or John, PM me your numbers so I can shoot you a text in case I DO have to meet you guys somewhere along the route.
