Looks like April may be just sitting their looking pretty... The limp mode (wrench dash light) light just came on the other day... From what I can gather, it may be the TPS needs replaced and/or a dirty TB. I have already done the clearing of the codes with tuner and left the battery unhooked for a while, but to no avail... I will see what I can get done and have cleaned replaced in the limited time I have until Sat morning. She still drives ok at half throttle and under, but at WOT, it's NOT pretty! Nonetheless, I WILL be there to chat/take pics and what not I'll be cruising up solo as I don't even leave work until 6:30am. I should be there at 8.

Take plenty of pics. Laura and I are probably sitting out the entire spring racing season. No $$ for the needed parts (all mine is sitting in a new 5.0!), no trailer, Laura's got a brand spankin new paint job. We're planning for a heavy fall season though. Good news is you'll see us a more cruises and shows. We've got professional details hitting up the '07 and '05 for Carlisle...

Upon inspection of the TPS sensor this afternoon, I noticed one of the wires had broken very close to the connector... I got it soldered and taped back up and the dash light is off and she runs strong as ever...well...considering she has all that "junk in the trunk"

Well Alex is still the king of the 6'ers but it was soooo close on one race. I think Alex edged Ed by .05. But a great time at the track. Oh and I set a new best time 13.658 at 103.35 mph

I almost lost to ed. We both spun off the line and he had me all the way down but my car just has too much fight in it.

At least ed is finally down in the high/mid 14s again.

Nice run Sean! And unfortunately I couldn't make it, I was looking forward to the competition between Alex, Ed and myself for the title of King, but I promised my son's mother I would take him Saturday forgetting it was the track day!

Well, I'm still just a subject, but I'll figure it out yet, running the SCT Bama tune, so I don't want hear no more about my tune, I now own $1200 worth on tuners.

What a fun day! Great to see everybody that made it out! It was great running against you Sean those handful of times! That first race was by far the closest...to the line, but was still far off on ET...We both were neck and neck ost of the way down. I was looking across and seeing you really shifting those gears hard! I think you beat me to the line by maybe a foot! Congrats on the new PB! Did achieve that during our runs?


April was running consistent low 13.4x for most of the 11 passes. No too shabby considering her huge rear street tires, lots of stereo goodies AND I didn't take out any of the contents such as computer backpack, two coolers with drinks/snacks, scanner/headphones, camera, several days worth of clothes, all kinds of cleaning supplies, tool box, jack/jack stands...

It was also nice to whip on a brand new Camaro SS several times! It just goes to show you that you can have a 400+ HP car and still lose to a lesser car! I bet he will be investing in the all important driver mod very soon!

Yeah it was great running with you too John. Even with all the extra pounds you have on your car I knew you would still be faster than me with your mods so the only hope I had at coming close was to get a good start and bang the hell out of those gears. That run we had when we were side by side all the way down the track was my second best time ever!!!!

I have wasted a few RS Slomaro's myself and they also have lots more hp then my lil v6

RS=Really Slow

SS=Super Slow or Sit & Spin

What surprised me the most was when I lined up against that GT/CS... granted it was 100% stock looking except for the smallish DRs, but when the lights went green, it left me in the dust! Granted I was in the water lane, (was doing research for possible grudge matches later) but my first thought was I didn't get my tires dried off enough and spun upon takeoff! He just kept pulling away the entire 1/4 mile! On the return road I was wondering what all he had done that got him such the big jump on me... Once I got the time slip, I saw that he ran 11.8 @ 117! I didn't feel so bad then knowing he was far from stock! I want to do those few things done on her as far as UCA and then going ahead and actually installing the one piece driveshaft and UDPs I have had now sitting around for well over a year!
