Gear Install
Anybody know of anyone or can recommend any shops that I can contact to do a gear install and T-Lok Rebuild? I want to put FR 3.73's in the car along with getting the FR T-lok Redbuild kit with Carbon Fiber Clutch Plates. I contacted JPC over the weekend for a quote ($1350+) which is quite a bit higher than I was expecting. I can get the parts on my own for a couple hundred cheaper, but the quote for labor was still $700 which is more than I would like to pay. Anybody have any input?

Re: Gear Install
Give JJ a call at Woodbine Motorsports (410)259-8737 and see if it's something he would be interested in doing for ya. Tell him Brian from Autobody Dimensions referred you. I have only heard great things about him and recently used him myself. Doesn't hurt to get a few quotes, that's for sure.

Re: Gear Install
I had mine done down at Excessive Motorsports in VA. I can't remember the price because there might have been 1 or 2 other things going in at the same time.

Re: Gear Install
Thanks for the info guys, I appreciate it.
I emailed JJ @ Woodbine and he quoted me $400 for labor so with all the parts I'd be looking at about $800 which is definitely going in the right direction.
RTW, do you have Mike's contact information?
Steven, do you have Bob Thompson's information?
05 RedDevil, I thought about using Excessive because I work down in Alexandria, so it wouldnt be too hard to get to their shop, but I had heard lots of mixed reviews about them, so I wasn't sure if it was worth it or not. I will still probably send them a request for quote though.

Re: Gear Install
I have had bob do work for me before he does a great job. I also had JJ at woodbine motorsports do my gears and they are dead silent! I was so impressed I had him install and tune my whipple earlier this year. Both are great guys!

I had Bob do my 4.10 gear install. He did a great job and I have no gear whine at all.

Re: Gear Install
+1on Bob T he did my 4'11's in the stock V6 rear, if I hadn't had Bob doing this install, it probably wouldn't have gotten done, we ran into problems that no one seamed to have a clue about, but he made it work.
Oh and for any V6 owners, take it from me, spend a few extra 100 dollars, and upgrade to to an 8.8, when I redo it I will be dumping the 7 inch, I should have done it in the first place {Yes Bob, just like you said LOL}

Re: Gear Install
I'd highly recommend Iron Mike's Garage. He quoted my 720 for parts and labor for gears and bearings and the like. He's in Rockville. His shop is the one I trust to do work on my car. He is also a mustang owner
