clutch recommendation? Empty clutch recommendation?

Post by mine1317 Wed Feb 25, 2015 1:33 pm

I know I haven't been active for a while now and I am in need of your opinion. My clutch just started to slip and I was wondering if you guys had any preference when it comes to what clutch kits to buy and where should I get them installed?

My car:
2005 v6 mustang
75k miles
pretty much stock other than a bbk CAI and a catback exhuastsystem

Thanks in advane!

How do you drive the car? Hard on the throttle or light?

if you just use it as a Daily driver, oem replacement will work fine, I've installed countless clutches in these things for people and napa sells decent oem replacements........if intersted PM me, I've done quite a bit of work for people on this forum.......I usually do mustang work on the weekends at my shop, pm me for any details, I can save you a bunch on the install and possibly the part as well with my napa discount.  I'm in Frederick as well, also I'd plan on doing the slave cylinder as they slide over the input retainer on the trans, and trans will be out at the time.
