No never checked but found out that on 90% of long tubes you will need to have the computer set not to read the 02 or a engine light will come on. JPC wants 1300 for the kooks mid legnth catted h pipe and 850 to install

Alright guys. Today is the day. I am ordering my headers. I have opted to use the Kooks set up and go stainless. I have been told that these are the easiest to tune and dont throw all the fault codes due to the 02 sensors closer. Now my question is this: I do plan to add the supercharger and cams next year, so should i go with the 1 5/8 or the 1 7/8? Also what kind of clearance will this hurt me? Secondly I am running the muffler deletes so should I go X or H mid pipe. I am going catted of course. Thanks

Alright I did it. I ordered the stainless Kooks long tube with catted x pipe. Now just need for them to come in and them have JPC install them. Seems they are the same price every where to install around 800. thanks for all the advice.

If going F/I, I hope you chose the 1 7/8" for optimum gains, but either will work fine. Also there will be nearly no difference in clearance between the two. With muffler deletes, I'd go with the X pipe. Enjoy Bassani long tube headers - Page 2 10498

Yes x pipe ordered. I was told that with just a supercharger the 1 7/8 are over kill. They said that if I was going to do head work and other lower mods to push more than the 500hp then to go that route. No intentions of that so just went with the 1 5/8. Spoke to 3 shops and all said the same thing. Thanks cant wait
