Close but not them, They are the American Racing Redline Shelby series. They have Shelby engraved in the lip. The wheel locks are included with the wheels, since im such a nice guy
A nice guy you are Bob!
And yes, I should have taken a pic last week! They are a bit like the ones above but exactly like the ones below OK, so I totally stuffed up was finding it difficult to locate a pic on the internet without taking down the details....
And I really can't wait to have them on!!! They are such a sweet looking wheel.... thanks Bob!

LOL! I will be out there Saturday too, helping him finish the insulation in the garage. You will get the hang of it eventually, but its the other drivers you really need to worry about.

Great, we can meet on Saturday then!
As for the snow, leaving TCS on, is a big mistake, so I have just learnt... thankfully there is a TCS off button, otherwise I would still be there!

TCS is only good when sliding sideways out of control, otherwise it is dangerous in my opinion. I meant to turn it off with the tuner but forgot.

Man that thing should handle great, I'm going to try and make it down there saturdaythe_Pete wrote:Thanks for the tips and discussion! Lot's to consider and many things to do....
Well, this weekend will see the following installs:
Eibach Anti-Roll Kit
Tokico HP Series Struts/Shocks
Tie Rod Ends (outer)
Power Steering pressure line
American Racing Shelby Rims
Hopefully, this will fix my immediate concerns & coupled with last weeks CAI kit install and Retune, I should be heading in the right direction. The lowering is on hold (for now) as it is not on my necessity list, but there is more than enough happening to Black Betty this week to keep me happy and Bob busy!
Very nice, but I believe it used to have a lip on it as well, maybe you can rip it off Paul's car and put it back on that one LOLCdude2010 wrote:conejo172 wrote:Cdude2010 wrote:true true... but i just got back from bob's with a new surprise ;)
Chris, What is it now? you need to share with the family!

And, by Saturday, I should have my new underdash 7 color led 4 pc lighting kit installed (which gets delivered today)... Oh, and hopefully the windows will be getting tinted as well !
I am dreading finishing off the Dynamat though... taking out the interior in the driveway will be a pain...

Wow sounds like you have a completely different car in a very short period of time. Congrats on all the new mods. Just wait until the 1/4 mile tracks open up and really have some fun with it.

Yes, I agree it is straight forward, but on a gravel driveway in the middle of winter.... easy becomes a pain in the ass particularly if it starts raining or snowing...

Re: S197... Suspension... what setup?
Ok, I can bring beer!
I'll throw the dynamat in just incase I/we can get around to it. On the mechanical stuff, I have one more thing to add to the repair list...
Drive belt. I noticed she was in a poor state today (dry cracked) so I ordered a new one which I pick up tomorrow with the rest of the bits from Packer Norris... where being a MCOM member is indeed a very good thing!
My LED light kit just turned up as well!

Pete,
Just make sure you put all the parts in the "TRUNK" not the "BOOT"

Yes, a slab is a case. Beer does not come in any other size package in my world, unless it is a keg.
