Well, we call them either a slab, case or carton, depending on which state in Australia we come from... & WTF is Fosters? It isn't even sold in Australia Aussies actually think that Fosters is
and it is only an export beer, not domestic.

You obviously haven't tried Coopers or Boags beer. Fine Aussie samples! Actualy, I've seen both in the States at certain restaurants...

Its the same in Mexico! Corona is cheaper than most other beers! My favorite beer in Mexico is Carta Blanca!

Really.... well, how's your knowledge of Belgian beer? In particular, Trappist beer?
When I was in Belgium, I had some of the finest Trappist Beer made with the same formula for over 400 years. Yep, nearly as old as the good ol' US of A....
I really like Triple Chimay and Chimay Grande Reserve.... mmmm... but at 8 - 10% alcohol on average, the trappist beers hit hard!

Oh yes indeed. Only about 6 or 7 monasteries (mainly in Belgium) that now officially brew beer for commercial consumption. They are almost exclusively ales (top fermented and bottle conditioned) and have a very strong flavour with fruity highlights. Definitely an acquired taste, but once the palate has been adjusted, a complex array of body and depth is evident in every drop.
OK, so I really love my beer... So who is up for a tasting session one day? Would make a great day out!

Re: S197... Suspension... what setup?
Ok, so we need to organize a beer tasting afternoon... sounds fun!
And now I have some new Lug Studs to add to Saturday's increasing list of to do's... How someone snaps one off & "fails" to tell anyone about it is beyond me... and it got through an MVA inspection... mmmm... I should of checked sooner & not be so trusting! As they say, Buyer Beware!

Re: S197... Suspension... what setup?
Well, the wheels, struts, shocks are coming off anyway, so brake calipers & rotors aren't too much more I guess...
Should be able to punch the stud out of the hub without removing the axle. That's what I'm thinking anyway.

Saturday the 5th after the van day? There`s always a after party.
When I had your car on the lift I didnt notice a nut missing. Maybe we should have pulled the wheels. You should be able to replace the fronts fairly easy but you might have to pull the axles like "TT_05" said. That requires some $ in gear oil. I think the 7.5" takes 75\140 which is $15-$20 per qt.

Sorry for the confusion, it is a front stud, not a rear. They only had 9 studs in stock (which I bought) & I wasn't planing on touching the rears.
As we didn't remove the centre caps or wheels, we would never have seen it anyway. I was just being a bit conscientious today before driving up to Baltimore. I had been meaning to check them (due to the front end vibration) but put too much confidence in the recent repair work & MVA inspection. My own fault for not checking sooner, but at least I found it in time. I'm just pissed that the seller & his mechanic (who did the front rotors when I purchased) didn't say a bloody thing about it!
Oh well, she'll be all good on Saturday

Re: S197... Suspension... what setup?
Well, the suspension is now in! Great Job Bob!
I would like to thank James and Chris for their help! Thanks guys! I still can't believe we ate 20 burgers A new record for breaking next time!
I'm so happy with the car now, and those rims look sweeeeeet! Will get pics up shortly. The car handles soooooo much better. It is hard to believe I'm driving the same car as it really feels like it is on rails now and all that rattling type suspension feel is gone! It is now rock solid, but with nice progressive suspension.
