than the 79-90? i was just browsing mustang stuff, seeing what i need for the five lug swap and i came across this. never really heard of the later models having a bigger fender opening. does this mean the ground effects are different on the 91+ cars? and also, are the rear wheel openings bigger too? did this affect the four cylinder cars too?

i'm so full of questions today! hahaha

The 5.0 cars had a larger fender opening becasue of the change to the 16" wheels for that engine package. AFAIK the quarters didn't change.
