Test Driving Empty Test Driving

Post by 05RedDevil Thu Jan 15, 2009 7:50 am

So I have decided to go on another test driving binge recently which I started last night.
Nissan 370Z Touring. It sure is a blast to drive but got damn $39K and it isn't even the Gran Touring? I felt guity for letting myself get so excited from Jap crap.
Acura TL SH-AWD. This was the most fun car I drove last night. Wow. The way I could push that car so damn hard around every single turn . . . what a contrast to my stang with a live rear and s/c'ed V8. It handled amazingly. I was WOT all the way around an off-ramp. It gives me chills to think how well it handled.
Challenger SRT8. It's a 6.1L V8. Of course it was fun. Not as sexy as I'd thought it would be. Fun to be behind the wheel of but I just don't trust those Mopar guys.

I'll be playing in more cars Friday. Oh, it is way too much fun to be free. I swear there is nothing better to do when you have time but won't spend money

HAHA, how funny would that have been. You are with the salesmen about to go on the test drive and you casually say "oh, can you hold on a sec?" go to your car and come back helmet in hand. LOL, they probably be scared to death.

Ooh, I'd love to test drive me a Porsche. Poor salesman would never know what hit him. Smile

Ohhh, I am so bringing the helmet and I'll do that when I go to Lexus. I really want to test drive the ISF and see how that 8 speed tranny is. Actually, I better do that with a car I don't really care about driving, like a Honda or something . . .
Of course they "thought" I was in the market or they wouldn't have let me behind the wheel. I do want a nice daily driver but there are so few powerful American luxury cars and it will be a few months before I actually shell out the cash. Only one I can think of is the CTS-V.

I'd be afraid of the GT-R tranny exploding on me
