Re: thinking about gauges and pods
u should look into getting wideband gauges... like the interceptors... they arent cheap but if u got 2 of them and a boost in the middle that would look sick! plus u could cover almost every parameter in ur car

Re: thinking about gauges and pods
yeah i just about to ask whats the differents between wideband and normal gauges? you dont think that pod will cause a big hump in the dash

Re: thinking about gauges and pods
I agree there was a long post about ti, and they got mad at me for saying it didnt follow the lines of the dash. However the pods themselves go with the interior better than the autometer.
I saw one on a car a few weeks back. Actually looked way better in person.

Re: thinking about gauges and pods
Oil Pressure : You need to run a T off the stock oil filter housing. One port for the stock sending unit and the other for the aftermarket sending unit.
Boost would be a vacuum T off the intake AFTER the throttle body.

Re: thinking about gauges and pods
Air fuel sensor you will need to have a bung welded in. Depending if its a wideband or narrowband will tell you the placement.

Re: thinking about gauges and pods
just a thought if you havent arleady bought the pod, ive seen a few guys install the guages right into the ac plate (between the vents on your dash in the middle where the gt500 plates go on shelbys) and it actually looks pretty clean. the one i saw in person i think was at excessive and chris installed it i think but not for sure. they went with white face gauges and it looked pretty clean. just a thought....and Will its scary how much you know about mustangs mods.
