Would it be ricerish of me to chop my springs or is that ok. I'm tryin to save for posi rear so i can't really afford the lowering springs right now. Should i wait or should i chop.

I've heard mixed things about doing that but mostly bad. I wouldn't go that route unless you didn't drive your car daily. Definitely do some searching...you will find some horror stories...

yeah, it messes up the whole compression rate and stiffness often causing the car to bottom out which can result in destroyoing your shocks/struts and even cracking the strut mounts. I even read of a guy who cut his springs and his car bottomed out resulting in his windsheild shattering.

If you go with those, you are going to need some caster/camber plates and most likely new shocks struts. It's easier to change those while you do the springs but if you want to wait, you will just wear through the stockers real quick with that amount of drop.

I went with the FRPP C springs so I wouldn't have to deal with all of those other factors. Sometimes I wish I went a little lower but I'm definitely satisfied with what I got.

That's why I went with the C springs. You "can" put those lower springs in but you are going to wear out the stock shocks and struts pretty quickly and your tires are going to wear funny b/c of the camber being off. Once they settle (a month or so) you should get an alignment. This should help you find out how off your camber is and if you need the plates. If they can't get it to align correctly, you will need the plates or just wear out your tires unevenly.

Just my 2 cents...

I forgot to add that I left off the front isolators to get a little extra drop. Didn't add to any harshness or extra noise. I've done that in 3 different cars now with no problems. Might add like a quarter of an inch to the drop tops but worth it to me Smile My alignment was still spot on too!

You can definitely shop around for inexpensive lowering springs but never ever chop your springs. While C/C plates are a good idea, they are not 100% necessary. I took my car for an alignment after I lowered mine 1.25" and my caster was off by only 0.5 degrees and my camber and toe were still good. A steep drop would make a big difference though
