Re: Lowering my baby
imo id do C/C plates regardless to fine tune the drop....you can never get enough play/movement out of factory components....it may be "green" on the alignment sheet but it can still be border line.

Re: Lowering my baby
FFRP = Eibach same exact spring. Its made by Eibach. They are the Eibach Pro which I have, just not installed. They are the top of the line progressive spring, without going to an H&R or Tein.

Re: Lowering my baby
With the FRPP springs, you won't need the adjustable panhard bar, but still may add it to fine tune the axle location. The axle doesn't really get off center until you go more than 1" drop. I would recommend the BMR PHB (cheaper than Steeda!) as I have the Steeda and it is a PITA to adjust!!!!!

Re: Lowering my baby
So far, very few companies make caster adjustable plates for the S197. Most are camber only. I got the Steeda HD upper strut mounts that allow barely enough to get it almost dead on aligned. They're $300. I'm wondering if the addition of camber bolts to take it to dead on alignment would be worth it?????

Re: Lowering my baby
BMR has come a long way since I delt with them. I purchased my LCA's from them the same week I bought my 05. Unfortunately their LCA's back then were junk, and would break bushings every other month. for a panhard bar the red poly bushings are fine, but LCA's and UCA I would go with the black hard rubber graphite inpregnated bushings. I believe Metco and Steeda are the only ones that use the hardened Black Rubber that does not break over time.

i cant see a problm with such. as long as everything is tight then no problems shoul arise. itwould help get the alignmentdead on to factory or desired even specs side to side giving a nice caster offset between the left and right side.

Re: Lowering my baby
I recently installed the Eibach ProKit and an Edelbrock Adj PHB. Edelbrock makes a nice bar.

Re: Lowering my baby
Sweet! With those springs you shouldn't need camber plates and from what I hear, the GT500 upper strut mounts are better than the GT, so those should be fine to reuse also.
