Re: Springs?!
I've done or helped with three sets of S197 spring swaps now. The last one was funny as I made Nate feel kinda bad (he looked it while enjoying the nice sunny day ) that he wasn't helping hardly at all. To me, wrenching on mine or somebody else's Stang has been great therapy for me, so any chance I can get...ndnboy wrote:I would love to hook up if I can for the install, something I may want to do and the insight would be great......

Re: Springs?!
Well, as some of you know, I had some issues with a certain ex that totally screwed up my finances for a while, which led to me cancelling my last order of the K springs.
Well, I just re-ordered them and they should be here by Friday!! I also ordered the BMR adjustable PHB and the gt500 strut mounts!! Who's helping me do the install?!!! Free beer and pizza!!

Re: Springs?!
Springs have arrived!!! Just waiting on the panhard bar and we should be set. Unfortunately the GT500 strut mounts are on back order so we will have to conquer that another day......

Re: Springs?!
Nice! You may have my panhard bar, it's just been sitting in the box in my room since January... Since I already have one on and it works, I've never gotten around to actually swapping it out...yet. We'll just be careful with your stock strut mounts upon removal07caligtstang wrote:Springs have arrived!!! Just waiting on the panhard bar and we should be set. Re: Springs?!
Alright not to rob this thread since i started a new one and didnt know this was here. So I am going to need the Eibach Pro Kit Springs, BMR panhard bar adjustable. Is this all to lower the car? I am running 20" tires right now 255 series is this going to cause a problem

Re: Springs?!
The springs are obviously to lower your car. The panhard bar is used to help center the rear of the car after you drop it.

Re: Springs?!
Hey guys I am confused with the panhard bar... It seems that BMR makes two adjustable bars. Does it matter which one I get?

Re: Springs?!
The difference in the two is obviously the bushings. Polyurethane will be quieter and will have a little give, unlke the spherical bearings, which will be more stiff and create some noise.
Both do the job, it just all depends on what you do with the car, i.e. cruising/normal driving vs. road course racing/drag strip.
I am guessing your mustang is mostly for cruising/shows, so I would recommend the panhard bar with the ployurethane bushings.
Hope this helps.
